Before there was Are U Ready,
there was another song.
A demo recorded long before the charts,
long before television appearances,
long before the project became Escanor.
Originally written in 2000.
Completed in 2026.

The journey began under the moniker Mono Estate. "You And I" was created as a raw, emotional demo, capturing the early melodic trance energy before the project found its final form.
The project moved into professional production. The raw ideas were refined, leading to the creation of the first high-quality studio recordings that would eventually catch the attention of major labels.
The demo evolved into "Are U Ready". The project was signed, entering the official German charts, appearing on VIVA Club Rotation, and becoming a recognized name in the European dance scene.
After two successful singles, the project unexpectedly ended. The planned album was shelved, and the remaining tracks were left unfinished on old hard drives and DAT tapes.
Twenty-six years later, the original stems and sequences were recovered. Using modern production workflows while strictly preserving the original 2000s trance identity, "U AND I" was finally completed. The circle closes.
I can't help but wonder
I can't make it go away
Feeling sad I'm under
It's no ordinary day
And the sun is rising
I can feel it all around
There's a new horizon
Waiting for us now
I feel open-minded
Underneath an open sky
I could never hide it
That special you and I
Let me know what's on your mind
Let me see it through your eyes
'Cause we should have done this for a million
Times
I am ready
To fly so high
Are you ready?
For you and I
'Cause it is more than I can say (2x)
So let's get ready
Are you ready?
Just you and I (2x)
This music was never meant
to survive this long.
If this signal means something to you,
send it to someone who was there.
Not every chart entry survives.
Some memories do.
