The signal interpreted in the morning light.
The original Escanor recordings were crafted for the peak hours of European clubs. They carried the intensity and energy of the early 2000s trance movement.
However, the harmonic structures beneath the driving beats held a different potential. The Balearic Sessions strip away the peak-time intensity, revealing the underlying warmth and emotion of the original compositions.
This is the sound of the morning after. The sunrise over the ocean. The quiet energy that remains when the night is over.
During the 2026 reconstruction, it became clear that restoring the original tracks was only part of the story. The melodies themselves had matured.
The Balearic Sessions were created to explore how these 25-year-old signals would sound if they were played on a beach in Ibiza at 6 AM, rather than a warehouse in Germany at 2 AM.
